Officer R. Hawkeye

Though she was born in New Jersey, Riza was raised in the wilds of Texas. The Hawkeyes have been a prominent military family for generations, and though her official home was on a base in the heart of the Lone Star State, she spent much of her time visiting her retired grandparents in the rural area outside of Austin. She was the definition of a tomboy, and she loved to climb trees and run around with the boys from the local farms and raise hell. A little too much hell, as far as her father was concerned. He placed her in a special school on the base when she was eleven. From then on, all she knew was the military. She locked the few feminine ideals she had away in the depths of her mind, and threw herself headfirst into her training. She was a good driver, and a better shot. But when her father was killed while on duty, she finally told her mother that the military just wasn't for her.

Riza completely uprooted herself and moved to San Francisco, cutting off nearly all contact with her family in the process. She worked two jobs to pay rent in a small one room apartment while she attended the police academy in the city. It was there that she met Roy Mustang. She fell for him, and she fell hard... but she worked hard to keep it a secret. She ignored her feelings in favor of her studies and her work. As soon as she 'graduated', she was surprised to find herself assigned to work under Mustang. At present time, she's finally saved up enough money to move into a place with more than one room (perhaps the dog she'd found out in the rain would be happier, then).

Hobbies: walking her dog (Black Hayate), spending time at the firing range, keeping an eye on her co-workers when they go out drinking.
